Increasing Blog Traffic Creates Blog Income
Increasing traffic to your blog is simple but it demands dedication and time. Remember in order to create AdSense revenue, you must keep these four things in mind:
High Traffic Levels
High Paying Ads
Relevant Ads to Content
and Optimally Placed and Designed Ads
Will give you awesome money from AdSense.
One of the things I talk about often is managing the content on your blog. It’s the same as if you were managing content on your website, update often/frequently, keep it fresh and relevant, and your audience will find you.
This one tidbit alone is the cause of many bloggers and webmasters not receiving quality targeted traffic.
The reason I write in this blog daily is to generate traffic. I know there are lots of new internet marketers, as well as seasoned ones who need this information. Some of them will pay dearly for it. Others will Google me and find this blog or others like it, and get the same information for FREE.
If you provide valuable information to your visitors that offer a real benefit to them, your blog traffic will grow exponentially.
Another key, is to keep your blog design simple, clean yet eye appealing.
I’ve always been told I have a good creative eye, so I can not envision a page without some sort of graphic on it. Recently, I read an article about page design and it stated that people are drawn to colors, vibrant ones. The eye naturally gravitates to them. The hint is: find images, graphics, etc. to liven your posts up. It will at least get that initial draw to what it is you have to say.
Try to link to other blogs. This is something I will be incorporating in my blogging this week. Right now I only link to one blog, and it is the widely successful Pro Blogger. I intend to send out more networking offers by posting substantive comments on some of the things other bloggers post. Sort of like extending an olive branch to trade links. This will improve your Google ranking by creating backlinks.
As I mentioned above, comment on other bloggers’ posts. Don’t spam them. Say something important, yet interesting. They will appreciate it, and will return the gesture most times.
And of course, optimize your blogs. Use WordTracker or WebCEO to get you the keywords you need, then analyze them to make sure they are the hottest keywords going for the type of blogging that you do.
